Chris works closely with local artisans, using farmed and reclaimed wood, making each piece of furniture not only unique but functional and beautiful. All of our furniture is designed by Chris Canaan an award winning British designer of African descent. He marries African and British influences perfectly, using mid century European designs with African fabrics and patterns all handcrafted by skilled artisans right here on the Kenyan coast.
We only work with Mango wood, a durable hardwood with a beautiful grain, sustainable and plentiful. All the wood is farmed and we use no indigenous trees or shrubs. Leaving our natural environment intact and secure for future generations.
